Children’s Ministry

At Immanuel, our desire is to form children in God’s goodness, beauty, and truth by teaching with wisdom and intention, by reflecting Christ’s heart through attention and care for each child, and by coming alongside families as they nurture the ongoing spiritual growth and development of their children. 

Elementary

Every Sunday, our Sunday school classes meet upstairs following the children’s sermon during the adult service. Our pre-K through 5th grade students are divided into two classes to provide developmentally appropriate lessons and opportunities to build community with their peers.

We hope to teach and guide our children in the way of loving Christ and one another. During their time in class, children will experience worship, engaging Bible teaching, and hands-on learning activities. Most importantly, we want every child to be reminded of Christ’s overflowing love for them and to be encouraged to grow in their relationship with Him and with one another.

Nursery

Our nursery currently meets in one of our portables, where trained childcare workers provide a safe and welcoming environment for our youngest children. The nursery is a wonderful opportunity for children to experience wonder, play, and community while becoming acclimated to being in a classroom on Sundays.
